Helen Daniella Flanagan was born on 12 December 1989 , Bolton in Great Britain and she is an up and coming English actress . She is best known for playing Rosie Webster in Coronation Street since January 2000, her first major television role and is currently starring in a very steamy story line with her school teacher.
At the 2006 British Soap Awards, Helen was nominated for the Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress, but she lost out to Ellis Hollins.
She has appeared in numerous adverts, before landing the part of Rosie Webster Coronation Street, in 2000. Over the last 12 months, Helen (Rosie) has really come into the limelight and is set to be an acting sensation
She expressed a great passion and talent for acting at a very early age. She currently attends Westholme independent school, though has an on-set tutor as well.
